Inspection Phases

1. Rough-In / Pre-Drywall

  • Verify blocking/backing for accessories
  • Confirm electrical rough-in locations
  • Check conduit placement to avoid rework
  • Verify water & drain locations

2. After Finishes

  • Verify ADA mounting heights for fixtures
  • Check clear floor space for compliance
  • Confirm electrical trim matches submittal
  • Ensure wall protection and finishes are complete

3. Final Walk-Through

  • All fixtures installed & secured
  • All inspection stickers/labels visible
  • No paint or finish damage around units
  • Lighting operational

General Inspection Checklist

ADA & Accessibility

  • Verify ADA mounting heights for hand dryers, dispensers
  • Confirm required clearances at fixtures
  • Check forward/side reach ranges
  • Clear path of travel to and around fixtures

Accessory & Fixture Checks

  • Hand dryers installed & secure
  • Soap dispensers installed correctly

  • Confirm dedicated circuits where required
  • Test operation of electrical devices
  • No exposed wiring

Plumbing

  • No visible leaks under lavatories
  • Drainage working properly
  • Hot & cold water functioning

Cleanliness & Finishes

  • All debris removed
  • Surfaces wiped & streak-free
  • No paint drips or plaster dust on fixtures

Final Validation

  • Walk restroom with checklist
  • Photograph installed items
  • Confirm punch list items resolved
  • Schedule final inspection
